The Norfolk Water Company is a provider of water coolers to businesses and homes throughout East Anglia. As you would imagine, their primary product for sales is water! They pride themselves on providing an excellent service in a crowded market place and were looking for innovative new ways to improve the business efficiency and also to set themselves apart from competitors.
Our team set about designing an online communications system to offer Norfolk Water's clients an automated email service, reminding them when their next routine water delivery is due. Users are added to the system by Norfolk Water and an automated email is sent asking if the user has a delivery requirement. By simply clicking on a button within the email, clients can place or decline their next order of water. This system is saving Norfolk Water up to 1000 telephone calls per month and the equivalent of half a salary.
