During the last 6 months we have designed and built two online custom applications for the Acteon Group, specialists in subsea products and services and the 46th fastest growing company in the UK. The Acteon group has offices throughout the world - from the UK, to Asia and The Americas so it is essential that company systems and processes throughout the group are streamlined.
The first project was to build an online QSHE reporting system accessible from anywhere in the world with an internet connection, which allows the accurate tracking and reporting of all Health and Safety incidents worldwide across 16 operating companies. As well as improving the accuracy of information, it has dramatically reduced the time involved in creating essential reports.
The second project, an Intranet system, allows more than 1500 staff members group and worldwide to access company information. Users can login, store and retrieve files and images using our new Document Manager, add and retrieve information using the events calendar, it has a new version of our own CMS and a full hierarchy system is in place to control the various levels of information access where required.
The addition of the Intranet now allows all group members from offices throughout the world to communicate and access required information effectively and at the touch of a button.
